Kelly's Seafood
Our story
In 1958, William T. Kelly and his son Ron opened a luncheonette in the Bustleton section of Philadelphia, serving Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. With the luncheonette business steadily growing, Bill and Ron decided it was time to move to a better location with more room, but still in the Bustleton area. Kelly's Tavern became a popular place to enjoy Lunch and Dinner, or just a cold beer.
The Kellys were ready to expand the 80-seat restaurant, so in 1983 the connecting Drug Store was purchased. The result was a 150-seat dining room, a 20-stool bar, and Banquet facilities for up to 90 people. Ron's children Denise, Tim, Brett, and Brian joined the Restaurant full time to help serve the ever-increasing number of customers from the Bustleton and surrounding areas The third generation of Kellys have been working in the business since 1978, bussing tables, dishwashing, tending bar, and of course cooking all of your favorite entrees.
